Chairman Hunter called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 5:32 p.m. MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held September 11, 1990. Agency Member Hunter seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $238,162.03 for the week ending November 16, 1990; and $9,764.14 for the week ending November 21, 1990, in accordance with the 1990 -91 budget, were approved. 161: AWARD OF CONTRACTS - AGENCY -OWNED PARKING STRUCTURE - PACIFIC BELL DEVELOPMENT - KOLL- ANAHEIM CENTER, PHASE I: Submitted was joint report dated November 14, 1990 from the Executive Director of Community Development and the Director of Public Works & City Engineer, recommending award of contracts for the subject project. Agency Member Hunter moved to approve the following: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, XL Fire Protection, in the amount of $138,720 for fire protection in connection with the Pacific Bell parking structure (Koll Anaheim Center - Phase I). Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Dorst and Dryden Glass Contractors, in the amount of $177,400 for glass /glazing in connection with the Pacific Bell parking structure (Koll Anaheim Center - Phase I). Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Lawson Hughes Company, Inc., in the amount of $389,000 for structural steel in connection with the Pacific Bell parking structure (Koll Anaheim Center - Phase I). Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Owen Pacific, in the amount of $74,443 for roofing /waterproofing in connection with the Pacific Bell parking structure (Koll Anaheim Center - Phase I). 90 -93 !alt Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, IrvineWest Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., in the amount of $167,196 for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) in connection with the Pacific Bell parking structure (Koll Anaheim Center - Phase I). Agency Member Ehrle seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. ITEMS OF ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST: Mylessa Nickelson, 6464 Sunset Boulevard, Suite 950, Los Angeles, Ca. 90028, attorney for ARCH - American Riding Club for the Handicapped - asked to speak on behalf of the Club she represents in order to have facilities provided to ARCH over and above 14 stalls when the Rancho Del Rio stables restructured. Chairman Hunter interrupted and stated that the issue posed by Ms. Nickelson would be more properly addressed during the public comments portion of the City Council meeting.
