PRESENT: AGENCY MEMBERS: Simpson, Daly, Pickler, Ehrle and Hunter ABSENT: AGENCY MEMBERS: None PRESENT: CITY MANAGER: James Ruth CITY ATTORNEY: Jack White ACTING SECRETARY: Ann Sauvageau EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Lisa Stipkovich A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted at 4:00 p.m. on February 22, 1991 at the Civic Center kiosk, containing all items as shown herein. Chairman Hunter called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 5:12 p.m. MINUTES: Agency Member Hunter moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held January 8, 1991. Agency Member Daly seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $55,836.54 for the week ending February 15, 1991 and $139,746.39 for the week ending February 22, 1991, in accordance with the 1990 -91 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Daly, seconded by Agency Member Hunter, the following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: 1. 175: Approving the proposed materials and finishes for the lobby of the City Utilities Building. Lisa Stipkovich, Executive Director of Community Development briefed the materials and finishes to be used in the City Utilities Building. Approval by the Agency is necessary in order to go to bid. 2. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Harmon Contract W.S.A., Inc., in the amount of $463,900 for interior stone masonry for the City Utilities Building - Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Macco Constructors, Inc., in the amount of $209,802 for prestressed concrete piles for the City Utilities Building - Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Bomel Construction, Inc., in the amount of $958,217 for concrete for the City Utilities Building - Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 91 -14 Anaheim Civic Center ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY February 26, 1991, 5:00 P.M. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, J.L. Davidson, in the amount of $286,249 for reinforcing steel for the City Utilities Building - Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Anderson and Howard Electric, in the amount of $1,339,191 for electrical for the City Utilities Building - Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 3. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Arciero Brothers, Inc., in the amount of $3,614,360 for concrete, rebar, shoring, excavation, and masonry for the City Utilities Parking Structure - Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Buehner Corporation, in the amount of $828,490 for precast concrete for the City Utilities Parking Structure - Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Anderson and Howard Electric, in the amount of $213,200 for electrical for the City Utilities Parking Structure - Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 4. 123: Approving a First Amendment to Agreement with The SWA Group, in the amount of $260,000 for technical assistance in landscape architectural, environmental design, and implementing redevelopment plans and design reviews, and authorizing the Chairman and Secretary to execute said First Amendment to Agreement.
