Sohl EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Lisa Stipkovich A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted at 3:55 p.m. on April 12, 1991 at the Civic Center kiosk, containing all items as shown herein. Chairman Hunter called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 5:46 p.m. MINUTES: Agency Member Pickler moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of March 19, 1991. Agency Member Ehrle seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $51,884.35 for the week ending April 12, 1991, in accordance with the 1990 -91 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Daly, seconded by Agency Member Hunter, the following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: 1. 161: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Sully- Miller Contracting Co., in the amount of $188,927.10 for AC paving and striping, in connection with Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 161: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Damon Construction Co., in the amount of $115,647.24 for curb and gutter improvements, in connection with Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 161: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Mesa Contracting Corporation, in the amount of $165,355 for rough grading and demolition, in connection with Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 161: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, A & L Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $211,864 for underground utilities (dry), in connection with Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said 91 -27 Anaheim Civic Center, ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY April 16, 1991, 5:00 P.M. low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 161: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Steiny & Company, Inc., in the amount of $314,437 for street lights and traffic signals, in connection with Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 2. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Altmayer & Sons, Inc., in the amount of $2,021,106 for HVAC, in connection with the City Building which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Safeway Plumbing and Heating, Inc., in the amount of $550,150 for plumbing, in connection with the City Building which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Hoertig Iron Works, in the amount of $278,185 for architectural miscellaneous iron, in connection with the City Building which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Lawson Hughes Co., Inc., in the amount of $314,160 for structural steel, in connection with the City Building Parking Structure which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Dover Elevator Co., in the amount of $282,383.96 for elevators, in connection with the City Building Parking Structure which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, C & E Engineering and Construction, in the amount of $160,362 for HVAC, in connection with the City Building Parking Structure which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, Deel Mechanical Corp., in the amount of $146,000 for plumbing, in connection with the City Building Parking Structure which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 91 -28 Anaheim Civic Center, ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY April 16, 1991, 5:00 P.M. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, E. F. Brady Company, Inc., in the amount of $1,357,280 for drywall /insulation, etc., in connection with the City Building and City Building Parking Structure which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. 175: Awarding the contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, G & G Fire Sprinklers, Inc., in the amount of $496,419 for fire protection, in connection with the City Building and City Building Parking Structure which is part of Koll Anaheim Center, Phase I; and in the event said low bidder fails to comply with the terms of the award, awarding the contract to the second low bidder. Secretary Leonora Sohl. Staff is recommending that this last award only (G & G Fire Sprinklers - Fire Protection - in the amount of $496,419.00) be continued for one week to Tuesday, April 23, 1991. By general consensus of the Agency, the award of contract for fire protection in connection with the City building and parking structure was continued to Tuesday, April 23, 1991.
