Council Chamber Anaheim City Hall PRESENT.: AUTHORITY MEMBERS: Kaywood, Seymour, Kott, Roth and Thom ABSENT: AUTHORITY MEMBERS: None PRESENT: ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER: William 0. Roberts COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR: Knowlton Fernald HOUSING DIRECTOR: Rosario Mattessich Chairman Thom called the Regular Meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to order at 1:05 P.M. MINUTES: On motion by Mr. Thom, seconded by Mr. Roth, minutes of the regular Anaheim Housing Authority meeting held June 22, 1976, were approved. MOTION CARRIED. REPORT - FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY: Demands against the Anaheim Housing Authority in the amount of $125.47, in accordance with the 1975 -76 Budget, were approved. APPOINTMENTS TO ANAHEIM HOUSING COMMISSION: Memorandum dated July 1, 1976, from Housing Director Rosario Mattessich, forwarding statements of interest in serving on the Housing Commission from tenants of the Housing Authority, was reviewed. In response to question by Chairman Thom, Mr. Mattessich reported that after reviewing the statements and interviewing the people, he would recommend Mr. Edward A:- -Gardner to fill the elderly tenant position, with Mrs. Ellen G. Nelson as alternate. For the non - elderly tenant position on the Commission, he recom- mended Mrs. Josephine Montoya. It was pointed out by Chairman Thom that the appointments to the Commission would necessarily be made by the City Council, each Council Member to appoint one Housing Commissioner, and the two tenant commissioners to be appointed by the City Council as a body. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business before the Housing Authority, Mrs. Kaywood moved to adjourn. Mr. Seymour seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. ADJOURNED: 1 :10 P.M. ALONA M.
