Roberts HOUSING DIRECTOR: Rosario Mattessich Chairman Thom called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to order at 1:15 p.m. MINUTES Approval of the minutes for the regular meeting held August 24, 1976, was deferred one week. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of $20,584.92, in accordance with the 1976 -77 budget, were approved. ALLOCATION OF NEW SECTION 8 AUTHORITY TO ANAHEIM REPORT: Housing Director Mattessich reported to Council recent funding approval for the full 334 Section 8 existing housing units as requested by application submitted to HUD in the early part of June. The official letter of approval is forthcoming and should reach the City prior to September 20, 1976. This funding authority comes from the 1976 fiscal year which ends September 30, 1976. In addition, HUD has funded SCAG's application for a Section 8 bonus which allocates to Anaheim 50 existing housing units and 25 new construction units. Mr. Mattesich expressed his appreciation for the assistance given by Mr. Talley in securing this additional funding. In answer to Mrs. Kaywood's question, Mr. Mattesich advised that this year they will be reviewing all applications submitted to recertify each family's income, reinspect the units as to safety and sanitary conditions, and renegotiate leases because of increased rents. Mr. Thom pointed out that the highest percentage of participants in this program are senior citizens who are on a fixed income. CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE Mr. Thom offered Resolution No. AHA76 -2 for adoption, approving a Conflict of Interest Code for the Anaheim Housing Authority. RESOLUTION NO.
