REDEV�'LOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA - PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO BOUNDARIES: Mr. 11atts reported that pursuant to recommendation of Eugene B. Jacobs, Special Counsel to the Redevelopment Agency, a resolution v­is prF.r): relinquishing any right to certain tax funds as of the fisc11 year beginning July 1976. in response to question by Mrs. Kaywood, Mr. Watts counseled th.;�!_ the Agency has the option of withholding such action, pending futUre action as a result of the public hearing to consider the exclusion from Redevelopment Project Alpha of certain properties lying easterly of Imperial Highway and southerly of the Santa Ana River; however, one of the purposes of proceeding at this time is to communicate the action to officials of the County of Orange, thereby allowing appropriate action to be taken prior to the adoption of other taxing agency budgets. Mrs. Kaywood was of the opinion that it would be more appro- priate to withhold action until after the public hearing, and she pointed out the possibility that some revision to the proposal for exclusion of certain properties could be effected, which could result in the loss to the City of tax increment funds for one year. RESOLUTION NO. ARA76 -10: Agency Member Kott offered Resolution No. ARA76 -10 for adoption. A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RELINQUISHING ALL RIGHT, INTEREST AND CLAIM TO CERTAIN TAX FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING NOTIFICATION OF SUCH RELINQUISHMENT. INTEGRATED FINANCIAL AND MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM: In accordance with the direction by the Redevelopment Agency on May 4, 1976, a resolution was prepared authorizing an agreement with Arthur Young and Company for an integrated financial and management control system, principally for the redevelopment responsibilities and including housing assistance and community development block grant responsibilities. Mr. Watts advised that a maximum expenditure of $15,000 was provided in the proposed agreement. RESOLUTION`NO. ARA76 -11: Mr. Thom offered Resolution No. ARA76 -11 for adoption. A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT FOR ACCOUNTING SERVICES. MINUTES: On motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded by Mr. Seymour, minutes of the regular Anaheim Redevelopment Agency meeting held June 15, 1976, were approved. MOTION CARRIED. REPORT - FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY: Demands against the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency in the amount of $14,703.35, in accordance with the 1975 -76 Budget, were approved. PROPOSED BUDGET, 1976 -77 Mr. Fernald reported that the Redevelopment Staff has met with the Steering Committee and pursuant to direction given by the City Council at its regular meeting l'ield June 22, 1976, the proposed 1976 -77 Budget for the Redevelopment Department has been modified. He advised that the modified budget proposal will be submitted at the continued public hearing to be held this date before the City.Council. 1 7 k'
