Hopkins SECRETARY: Linda D. Roberts EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Norman J. Priest Chairman Thom called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order. MINUTES On motion by Mr. Thom, seconded by Mr. Kott, the minutes for the regular meeting held September 6, 1977, were approved. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $48,034.93, in accordance with the 1977 -78 Budget, were approved. 161.123: JUEL C. SHOOK AGREEMENT Mr. Priest reported that bids were obtained from two local firms to provide janitorial services for Agency property located at 106 North Claudina (E1 Camino Bank building). He recommended approval of an agreement with Juel C. Shook in the amount of $292.50 per month. Mrs. Kaywood offered Resolution No. ARA77 -75 for adoption. RESOLUTION NO. ARA77 -75 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH JUEL C. SHOOK AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CHAIRMAN AND SECRE- TARY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT. Roll Call Vote: AYES: AGENCY MEMBERS: Kaywood, Seymour, Kott, Roth and Thom NOES: AGENCY MEMBERS: None ABSENT: AGENCY MEMBERS: None The Chairman declared Resolution No. ARA77 -75 duly passed and adopted. 77 -105 ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY - September 20, 1977 - 1:00 P.M. 161.123: DAN W. HEIL AND WILLIAM C. STOOKEY - NEGOTIATION AGREEMENT: Mr. Priest recommended approval of a 90 -day Negotiation Agreement with Dan W. Heil and William C. Stookey for a two - phase, retail /office buildings /commercial development on that property located on the north side of Broadway between Anaheim Boulevard and Claudina Street. The development will be designed and coordinated with adjacent civic center construction. Following clarification by Mr. Priest as to the parcels involved, Mr. Thom offered Resolution No. ARA77 -7 for adoption. RESOLUTION NO. ARA77 -76 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH DAN W. HEIL AND WILLIAM C. STOOKEY, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CHAIR- MAN AND SECRETARY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT. NO. 957 -11A - AWARD OF CONTRACT: Following recommen- dation of the Executive Director, Mr. Kott offered Resolution No. ARA77 -77 for adoption, awarding a contract to Wizard of Wrecking, the low bidder (payment to Agency of $1,250) for demolition and site clearance of Agency properties located at 114 and 122 North Lemon Street, 155, 157, 161 and 165 West Lincoln Avenue, 169 West Lincoln Avenue, and 173 and 177 West Lincoln Avenue. RESOLUTION NO. ARA77 -77 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ACCEPTING A SEALED PROPOSAL AND AWARDING A CONTRACT TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR DEMOLITION AND CLEARANCE OF CERTAIN AGENCY PROPERTIES. RECESS Upon request of the Executive Director, Mr. Kott moved to recess into Executive Session, to be held at the conclusion of the Anaheim Housing Authority meeting. Mr. Thom seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. (1:09 p.m.) AFTER RECESS Chairman Thom called the meeting to order, all Agency Members being present. (1:23 p.m.) 161.158: EVICTION PROCEEDINGS - 328 WEST LINCOLN AVENUE Upon recommendation of the Executive Director, Mr. Kott moved to authorize staff to initiate eviction proceedings for Agency -owned property at 328 West Lincoln (Agency Deed No. 21 - Crocker National Bank), presently occupied by the Temple of Inspired Living. Mr. Thom seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business before the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency, Mrs. Kaywood moved to adjourn. Mr. Thom seconded the motion.
