Priest Chairman Thom called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order. MINUTES On motion by Mr. Thom, seconded by Mr. Roth, the minutes for the regular meeting held November 1, 1977, were approved. Mrs. Kaywood and Mr. Kott absent. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of $464,655.56, in accordance with the 1977 -78 Budget, were approved. 161.123: JOHN HARRIS, AIA - ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES In accordance with the recommendation of the Executive Director, as outlined in memorandum dated November 2, 1977, Mr. Roth offered Resolution No. ARA77 -85 authorizing an agreement with John Harris, AIA, for pre- paration of plans and specifications for remodeling a portion of the E1 Camino Bank building, 203 East Lincoln, in an amount not to exceed $2,000, to be completed within three weeks of effective date. Mr. Kott entered the Chamber at 1:05 p.m. RESOLUTION NO. ARA77 -85 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH JOHN HARRIS AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CHAIRMAN AND SECRETARY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT. The Chairman declared Resolution No. ARA77 -85 duly passed and adopted. 161.158: BID AWARD FOR SALE OF RESTAURANT FIXTURES AND EQUIPMENT (135 AND 218 WEST LINCOLN) KOHN MEGIBOW COMPANY, INC. Following explanation and recommendation of the Executive Director, as outlined in memorandum dated November 2, 1977, Mr. Seymour offered Resolution No. ARA77 -86 accepting the offer of Kohn Megibow Co., Inc. in the amount of $4,225 for purchase of restaurant fixtures and equipment located at 135 and 218 West Lincoln Avenue. ARA77 -86 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ACCEPTING AN OFFER TO PURCHASE CERTAIN AGENCY PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A BILL OF SALE THEREFOR. Roll Call Vote: AYES: AGENCY MEMBERS: NOES: AGENCY MEMBERS: ABSENT: AGENCY MEMBERS: Seymour, Kott, Roth and Thom None Kaywood The Chairman declared Resolution No. ARA77 -86 duly passed and adopted. 161.107: W.O. 984 -11A - SCHUSTER HOUSE Mr. Priest reported that no bids were received for the purchase and removal of the Schuster house located at 211 South Claudina, however, a recommendation would be forthcoming following presentation to the Community Redevelopment Commission at their meeting to be held November 9, 1977. 161: REDEVELOPMENT SIGN Mr. Priest presented a proposed sign that would be posted within the redevelopment area to indicate that rede- velopment activities are in progress. Mr. Seymour suggested that, if possible, said sign be printed in the City colors, blue and white, and Agency Members concurred. RECESS Upon request of the Executive Director, by general consent, the Agency recessed into Executive Session. Mrs. Kaywood absent. (1:10 p.m.) Mrs. Kaywood entered the Chamber at 1:13 p.m. and exited into the Executive Session. AFTER RECESS Chairman Thom called the meeting to order, all Agency Members being present. (1:13 p.m.) 77 -128 ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY - November 8, 1977 - 1:00 P.M. 161.158: SQR STORE - REQUEST FOR GOODWILL APPRAISAL In accordance with the recommendation of the Executive Director and on motion by Mr. Kott, seconded by Mr. Thom, staff was directed to meet with SQR owners and representatives to determine necessary information under code as to the appropriate action in the matter, and report back with a recommendation. MOTION CARRIED. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business before the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency, Mr. Kott moved to adjourn. Mr. Thom seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
