ASSESSED VALUE INCREMENT MONIES - REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA: Communi- cation dated November 12, 1974, from Jack P. Vallerga, Orange County Assessor, was submitted together with communication dated November 21, 1974 from C. H. Krueger, Supervisor of the Orange County Auditor - Controller's Office Tax Section, calling attention to a discrepancy in the 1974 -75 unsecured assessed values within the area of Redevelop- ment Project Alpha. Finance Director Mike Ringer advised that he had reported to the Redevelopment Commission that a temporary hold has been placed on all the redevelopment tax monies, and substantial tax payments which were to have been received in December have been withheld for a short period of time. An error has been discovered by the County Assessor's Office, in that information which they have supplied to the Agency in the past has been overstated, and there will be a slight reduction in property tax flow to the Redevelopment Agency, the exact amount of which has not been determined. Mr. Ringer submitted and briefly summarized his report indicating the expected tax flow to the Agency, the estimated total to be slightly above $2,000,000, although a reduction in the unsecured property taxes and business inventory taxes is anticipated. He advised that the Agency's Fiscal Consultant and himself were scheduled to meet with the County Assessor and the County Tax Collector on December 19, 1974, to determine whether the City can assist in eliminating the problem. PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT The Assistant Executive Director reported on purchase of a station wagon for use by the Redevelopment Director, from Jack White Pontiac, Anaheim, in the amount of $6,548..68, including tax. He advised that the three seat vehicle was needed to transport developers from other locations into the redevelopment area. On motion by Mr. Seymour, seconded by Mr. Pebley, purchase was authorized in the amount of $6,548.68, including tax. MOTION CARRIED.
