COMMISSION ACTING AS THE ANAHEIM HOUSING
AUTHORITY, AUTHORIZING C RTAIN STAFF MFMB RS
TO EYOR-CUT- HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS CON -
TRACTS ON BI?H.ALF OF TIfi"! ANAHEIIM HOUSING
AUTHORITY.
T7H'2R' the Anaheim Housing Authority has enterer
an Annual Contributions Contract with the United States of
America, pursuant to Section S of the United States Housing Act
of 1937; and
rTHEREAS, the Anaheim Housing Authority is undertaken;
to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing; and
il�:'HERJAS, pursuant to the Annual Contributions Contract,
the Anaheim Housing Authority is authorized to enter Housing
Assistance ayments Contracts with owners of dwellings; and
':IERIAS, it is anticipated that hundreds of such_ Hous-
ing Assi_stanct �'ayments Contracts will be entered by the Anaheim
Housing Authority during the term of the Annual Contributions Con-
tract; and
T=H:sR'EAS, it is desirable and appropriate that certain
staff members be authorized to execute such Housing Assistance
Payments Contracts on behalf of the Anaheim Housing Authority
subject to certain limitations hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE,, B' IT R:sSOLV7D that the Redevelopment
Director and the Housing Director be, and they are hereby,
authorized to execute Housing Assistance rayments Contracts on
behalf of the ,Anaheim Housing Authority; provided, however, that
no authority is hereby granted to execute a Housing; Assistance
Payments Contract in which. the Anaheim Housing Authority is re-
quired to make payments which exceed X325.00 per monti.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the authorization set forth
in. the preceding paragraph is non - delegable by the Tledevelopment
Director or Housing Director.
BE IT FURTHER R-_'SOLVE'' that the Housi_n Director be
and he is hereby, directed to prepare and submit to the 'Mahei._r
Housing; Authority, monthly reports regarding all Housing Assis-
Lance Payments Contracts entered into during the preceding month.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of October , 1975.
