A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, ACTING AS THE
ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY, APPROVING AN
APPLICATION FOR FUNDS UNDER SECTION 8
OF TITLE II OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted a Housing
Assistance Plan, which plan is a part of the City of Anaheim's
application for Title 1 Block Grants under the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, said Housing Assistance Plan reflects, as a
first year goal, 300 units of existing housing to be funded un-
der Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and Community Develop-
ment Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment has approved said Housing Assistance Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment has requested that applications be submitted for funding
under Section 8 of Title II.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Community
Development Commission, acting as the Anaheim Housing Authority,
does approve the submission of an application to Department of
Housing and Urban Development for funding under Section 8 of
Title II for 200 existing housing units.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of June , 1975.
