A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AUTHORIZING THE TERMINATION AND
CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT NO. D78 -8 WITH
WILKINSON CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING RE-
BIDDING OF THE UNCOMPLETED WORK REQUIRED
BY THE TERMS OF CONTRACT NO. D78 -8 IF
BONDING COMPANY WILL NOT COMPLETE THE WORK.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency did, by
Resolution No. ARA78 -102, award Contract No. D78 -8 for certain
demolition work to Wilkinson Construction; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Contract No. D78 - 8, Wilkinson
Construction was presented with a ten (10) day notice on intention
to terminate said Contract if Wilkinson Construction failed to
remedy or correct violations of said Contract; and
WHEREAS, Wilkinson Construction failed to perform said
demolition work within the periods required by Contract D78 -8,
and to remedy said violations within said ten (10) days; and
WHEREAS, said failure to complete said work may inter-
fere with the Agency's ability to meet Agency's contract obliga-
tion to developers of property in Redevelopment Project Alpha.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the Executive Director be, and he is hereby, auth-
orized to terminate and cancel Contract D73 -8 on behalf of the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency.
2. That the Executive Director be, and he is hereby, auth-
orized to seek bids for completion of the uncompleted work required
by Contract D78 -8 for the account of and at the expense of Wilkinson
Construction if the bonding company will not complete the work.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved_ and adopted by the
Anaheim _DLedevelonment Agency this 22nd day of __

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Chairman of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency signed said Resolution on the 22nd day of May, 1979.
