ARA79 -47 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING AN INITIAL STUDY AND FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NEED NOT BE PREPARED FOR THE PROPOSED SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH REAL PROPERTY IN THE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA PROJECT AREA WHEREAS, on November 23, 1976 the Community Redevelopment Commission of the City of Anaheim (the "Commission ") together with the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ") had cer- tified that the Final Subsequent Environmental Impact Report for the Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Rede- velopment Project Alpha was prepared and completed in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 ("CEQA") and State Guidelines and Agency Procedures for the implementation thereof, and WHEREAS, in order to implement the Redevelopment Plan, as amended, the Agency proposes to enter into a "Participation Agreement" with Santa Fe Land Improvement Company, Participant, providing for the sale and development of certain real property (the "Property ") in the Project; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Agency's duly adopted Pro- cedures for the implementation of CEQA and the Guildelines of the California Resources Agency, the Agency staff has prepared an Initial Study of Environmental Impact ( "Initial Study ") with respect to said proposed sale and development of the Property; and WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and considered the find- ings set forth in said Initial Study. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Agency hereby approves and adopts the Initial Study with respect to the proposed Participation Agreement between the Agency and Santa Fe Land Improvement Company. 2. The Agency hereby certifies that the information contained in the Initial Study has been reviewed and consid- ered by the members of the Agency. 3. The Agency hereby finds and determines as follows: (1) No substantial changes are proposed in the Redevelopment Project, or with re- spect to the circumstances under which the Project is to be undertaken, which will require major revisions in the En- vironmental Impact Reports previously adopted for the Project due to the in- volvement of new environmental impacts not covered in said previous Environ- mental Impact Reports; (2) No Subsequent or Supplement to EIR is necessary or required; and (3) The proposed action will have no signi- ficant effect on the environment, except as identified and considered in the previous EIRs. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 29th day of may , 1979.
