ARA79 -66 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING AN INITIAL STUDY AND FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NEED NOT BE PREPARED FOR THE PROPOSED SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH REAL PROPERTY IN THE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA PROJECT AREA WHEREAS, on November 23, 1976, the Community Redevel- opment Commission of the City of Anaheim (the "Commission ") together with the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ") had certified that the Final Subsequent Environmental Impact Report for the Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha was prepared and completed in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 ( "CEQA ") and State Guidelines and Agency Procedures for the implementation thereof; and WHEREAS, in order to implement the Redevelopment Plan, as amended, the Agency proposes to enter into a "Parti- cipation Agreement" with Dan W. Heil and William C. Stookey, Participants, providing for the sale and development of certain real property (the "Property ") in the Project; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Agency's duly adopted Procedures for the implementation of CEQA and the Guildelines of the California Resources Agency, the Agency staff has pre- pared an Initial Study of Environmental Impact ( "Initial Study ") with respect to said proposed sale and development of the Property; and WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and considered the findings set forth in said Initial Study. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Agency hereby approves and adopts the Initial Study with respect to the proposed Participation Agreement between the Agency and Dan W. Heil and William C. Stookey. 2. The Agency hereby certifies that the informa- tion contained in the Initial Study has been reviewed and considered by the members of the Agency. follows: 3. The Agency hereby finds and determines as (1) No substantial changes are proposed in the Redevelopment Project, or with respect to the circumstances under which the Project is to be undertaken, which will require major revisions in the Environmental Impact Reports pre- viously adopted for the Project due to the involvement of new environmental impacts not covered in said previous Environmental Impact Reports; (2) No Subsequent or Supplement to EIR is necessary or required; and (3) The proposed action will have no signi- ficant effect on the environment, except as identified and considered in the previous EIRs. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and Secre- tary be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency.
