A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A BUY AND SELL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FOR THE SELLING OF THE GEORGE
WASHINGTON SCHOOL FOR USE AS A NEIGHBORHOOD
COMMUNITY CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR-
MAN AND SECRETARY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency is the owner
of certain property commonly known as the George Washington School;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to purchase the
George Washington School from the Agency for use as a Neighborhood
Community Center; and
WHEREAS, the City, by Ordinance No. 4030, established a
Neighborhood Community Center Special Outlay Fund to purchase this
property; and
WHEREAS, said proposed Neighborhood Community Center is
of benefit to Redevelopment Project Alpha; and
WHEREAS, no other means of financing the entire cost of
acquisition of the site where said Neighborhood Community Center
is located are available to the City; and
WHEREAS, a Buy and Sell Agreement has been prepared, the
terms and conditions of which are satisfactory to the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of a Buy and Sell Agreement to sell the George Washington
School to the City of Anaheim for use as a Neighborhood Community
Center be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman and Secretary
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said Buy and Sell
Agreement on behalf of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency does hereby approve the grant deed for the sale to the
City of Anaheim of certain Agency property generally described as
the George Washington School and more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" of the Buy and Sell Agreement, and does hereby author-
ize the Chairman and Secretary to execute said grant deed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved anopted by the

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. ARA79 -102 was passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency held on
the 9th day of October, 1979, by the following vote of the members thereof:

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Chairman of the Anaheim Redevelopment
