ARA82 -49 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CERTIFYING AN INITIAL STUDY WHICH FINDS AND DETERMINES THAT THE PROPOSED SALE AND REDEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA WILL HAVE NO SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND THAT A SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NEED NOT BE PREPARED. WHEREAS, on November 23, 1976, the Community Redevelopment Commission of the City of Anaheim (the "Commission ") together with the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ") certified that the Final Subsequent Environmental Impact Report for the Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha (the "Project ") was prepared and completed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 ( " CEQA ") and State Guidelines and Agency Procedures for the implementation thereof; and WHEREAS, in order to implement the Redevelopment Plan, as amended, the Agency proposes to enter into a Disposition and Development Agreement with Raymond A. and Connie Y. Masciel, a sole proprietorship, (the "Developer "), providing for the sale and development of certain real property (the "Site ") in the Project; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Agency's duly adopted Procedures for the implementation of CEQA and the Guidelines of the California Resources Agency, the Agency staff has prepared an Initial Study of Environmental Impact ( "Initial Study ") with respect to said proposed sale and redevelopment of the Site; and WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed and considered the findings set forth in said Initial Study. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Agency hereby certifies the Initial Study with respect to the proposed Disposition and Development Agreement between the Agency and the Developer. 2. The Agency hereby finds and determines as follows: A. The proposed action will have no significant effect on the environment, except as identified and considered in the previous Environmental Impact Reports; B. No substantial changes are proposed in the Redevelopment Project, or with respect to the circumstances under which the Project is to be undertaken, which will require major revisions in the Environmental Impact Reports previously adopted for the Project due to the involvement of new environmental impacts not covered in said previous Environmental Impact Reports; and C. No subsequent Environmental Impact Report or Supplement to the previous Environmental Impact Reports is necessary or required. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 21st day of September, 1982.
