A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FINDING
THE PROPOSED SALE OF CERTAIN
SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY OWNED
BY THE AGENCY CATEGORICALLY
EXEMPT FROM THE REQUIREMENTS
OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL
QUALITY ACT, AND ADOPTING A
NOTICE OF EXEMPTION THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, in order to dispose of certain surplus real property
(the "Site ") owned by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ")
and located outside of the Redevelopment Project Area boundaries,
the Agency proposes to enter into a Disposition and Development
Agreement with AMIL SHAB, sole proprietor (the "Developer "),
providing for the sale and development of the Site; and
WHEREAS, Section 15112 of the State EIR Guidelines promulgated
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act ( "CEQA ") provides
that sales of surplus government property in developed areas where
there are no significant environmental concerns are categorically
exempt from the requirements of CEQA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Site is comprised of surplus government property and
is located in a developed area where there are no significant
environmental concerns.
2. Pursuant to the Agency's duly adopted procedures for the
implementation of CEQA, the Agency finds that the sale of the Site
pursuant to the proposed Disposition and Development Agreement
between the Agency and the Developer is categorically exempt from
the requirements of CEQA.
3. The Executive Director of the Agency is authorized to
prepare a Notice of Exemption for the Disposition and Development
Agreement and to file such notice with the County Clerk.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 22nd day of March ,
1983.
