A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS UNDER
SECTION 8 OF TITLE II OF THE HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted a
Housing Assistance Plan, which plan is a part of the City
of Anaheim's application for Title I Block Grants under
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, said Housing Assistance Plan reflects,
as a second year goal, 600 units of existing housing to
be funded under Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban
Development has approved said Housing Assistance Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban
Development has allocated Supplemental 'Housing Assistance
Program units to be awarded by Southern California Associa-
tion of Governments (SCAG); and
WHEREAS, SCAG has awarded Anaheim Housing
Authority 40 units from this supplemental allocation and
has informed the Anaheim Housing Authority to apply
directly to HUD for said units in accordance with Regional
Housing Allocation Model.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim
Housing Authority does approve the submission of an
application to Department of Housing and Urban Development
for funding under Section 8 of Title II for 40 existing
housing units.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 5th day of April 1977. �14
