A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
AUTHORIZING CERTAIN STAFF MEMBERS TO EXECUTE
HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS CONTRACTS ON
BEHALF OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Housing Authority is under-
taking to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such undertaking, the Anaheim
Housing Authority enters, from time to time, into Annual
Contributions Contracts with the United States of America,
pursuant to Section 8 of the United States Housing Act of
1937; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Annual Contributions
Contract, the Anaheim Housing Authority is authorized to
enter Housing Assistance Payments Contracts with owners of
dwellings; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that hundreds of such
Housing Assistance Payments Contracts will be entered by
the Anaheim Housing Authority during the term of such Annual
Contributions Contracts; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable and appropriate that
certain staff members be authorized to execute such Housing
Assistance Payments Contracts on behalf of the Anaheim Housing
Authority subject to certain limitations hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director of the Anaheim Housing Authority or the Housing
Manager or the Housing Coordinator be, and they are hereby
authorized to execute Housing Assistance Payments Contracts
on behalf of the Anaheim Housing Authority, provided, however,
that no authority is granted to execute a Housing Assistance
Payments Contract in which the Anaheim Housing Authority is
reauired to make payments which exceed $800.00 per month.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the authorization set
forth in the preceding paragraph is non - delegable.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. CDC75 -44
be, and it is hereby rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Housing Authority
Executive Director be, and he is hereby, directed to prepare
and submit to the Anaheim Housing Authority, monthly reports
regarding all Housing Assistance Payments Contracts entered
into during the preceding month.
