A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS UNDER
r_ SECTION 8 OF TITLE II OF THE HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted a Housing
Assistance Plan, which plan is a part of the City of Anaheim's
application for Title I Community Developmnt Block Grants
under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and
Tr!HEREAS, said Housing Assistance Plan reflects, as a
third year goal, 600 units of existing housing to be funded
under Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
has advertised for application for 1,320 existing units for all
of Orange County to be funded under Section 8; and
WHEREAS, there are 600 units of existing Housing to be
funded under Section 8 to achieve the third year goal of the
Housing Assistance Plan for the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim Housing
Authority does approve the submission of an application to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding under
Section 8 of Title II for 600 existing housing units.
