A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS FOR 255
UNITS UNDER SECTION 8 OF TITLE II OF THE HOUSING
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted a Housing
Assistance Plan, which plan is a part of the City of Anaheim's
application for Title I Community Development Block Grants
under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, said Housing Assistance Plan reflects, as
a three -year goal in its 4th year application of 1047 units
of existing housing to be funded under Section 8 of Title II
of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban
Development has advertised applications for 259 moderate
rehabilitation units for all of Orange County to be funded
under Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim
Housing Authority does approve the submission of an applica-
tion to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for
funding under Section 8 of Title II for 255 moderate rehabili-
tation units.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the Anaheim Housing Authority this 17th day of July, 1979. ,
