A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
REQUESTING DESIGNATION AS A LOCAL SPONSORING
AGENCY TO PROVIDE HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS
FOR DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED, MENTALLY DISOR-
DERED, AND PHYSICALLY DISABLED ADULTS AND
APPROVING SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR
FUNDS FOR FORTY -THREE HOUSING UNITS.
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Community
Development of the State of California ( "Department ") has invited
applications for funds to provide Housing Assistance Payments for
Developmentally Disabled, Mentally Disordered and Physically Dis-
abled Adults under Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 and the Aftercare Housing Law
(Section 34700 et seq. Health and Safety Code); and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
a. The Anaheim Housing Authority does hereby request the
Department to designate the Anaheim Housing Authority as a Local
Sponsoring Agency.
b. The Anaheim Housing Authority does hereby approved sub-
mission of an application for funding for forty -three units of
assisted housing for the Developmentally Disabled, Mentally
Disordered., and Physically Handicapped.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said applica-
tion on behalf of the Anaheim Housing Authority.
