A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS UNDER SECTION 8
OF TITLE II OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted a Housing
Assistance Plan, which plan is a part of the City of Anaheim's
application for Title I Community Development Block Grants
under the Housing and Community Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, said Housing Assistance Plan reflects, as a
three -year goal, 1252 units of existing housing to be funded
under Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment has advertised for application for 202 existing units for
all of Orange County to be funded under Section 8; and
WHEREAS, there are 1051 units of existing Housing
to be funded under Section 8 to achieve the fifth year goal of
the Housing Assistance Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, there are only 202 units available to be
funded under Section 8 existing Housing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim Housing
Authority does approve the submission of an application to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding under
Section 8 of Title II for 202 existing housing units.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the Anaheim Housing Authority this 17th day 91, February , 1981.
