A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS.UNDER SECTION
8 OF TITLE II OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOP -
MENT ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted a Housing
Assistance Plan, which plan is a part of the City of Anaheim
Application for Title I Community Development Block Grants
under the Housing and Community Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, said Housing
three -year goal, 1252 units of
under Section 8 of Title II of
Development Act of 1974; and
Assistance Plan reflects, as a
existing housing to be funded
the Housing and Community
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
has advertised for application for 460 units for all of North orange
County to be funded under Section 8; and
WHEREAS, there are 1,168 units of existing Housing to
be funded under Section 8 to achieve the fifth year goal of the
Housing Assistance Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, there are only 460 units available to be funded
under Section 8 existing. Housing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim Housing
Authority does approve the submission of an application to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding under
Section 8 of Title II for 460 existing housing units.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Anaheim Housing Authority this 16th clay of June, 1991.
