AHA-1983-007RESOLUTION NO. ARA83 -7
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDS UNDER SECTION
8 OF TITLE II OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted a Housing
Assistance Plan, which plan is a part of the City of Anaheim's
application for Title I Community Development Block Grants under
the Housing and Community Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, said Housing Assistance Plan reflects a Three
Year Goal of 1252 units of Existing Housing and 684 units of
Moderate Rehabilitation to be funded under Section 8 of Title II of
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
has advertised for application for Existing units and Moderate
Rehabilitation units for all of Orange County to be funded under
Section 8; and
WHEREAS, there are 875 units remaining of Existing
Housing and 402 units of Moderate Rehabilitation to be funded under
Section 8 to achieve the Three Year Goal of the Housing Assistance
Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, there are units available to be funded under the
Section 8 Existing Housing and Moderate Rehabilitation programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim Housing
Authority does approve the submission of applications to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding under
Section 8 Title II for 875 Existing Housing units and 402 Moderate
Rehabilitation units.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Anaheim Housing Authority this 7th day of June, 1983.
