A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR FUNDING UNDER THE
EMERGENCY SERVICES PROGRAM (ESP).
WHEREAS, the State of California has issued a Notice of
Request for Proposals Under the Emergency Shelter Program; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Housing Authority is a public body
and is willing to accept a grant from the State of California
under the ESP; and
WHEREAS, an application for a grant under the program has
been prepared.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. The terms and conditions of said grant application are
hereby approved.
2. The Anaheim Housing Authority hereby certifies that any
grant funds received from the State of California will be used in
compliance with the ESP Guidelines as promulgated by the State of
California.
3. The Anaheim Housing Authority agrees to act as the lead
agency in contracting with, or securing grant funds from, the
State of California.
4. The Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute
the application on behalf of the Anaheim Housing Authority and to
execute all documents necessary to complete the grant application.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of January, 1987.
