RA2000/06/06ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA - REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING JUNE 6, 2000 The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Anaheim, CA met in regular session. Present: Chairman Tom Daly, Agency Members: Frank Feldhaus, Lucille Kring, Tom Tait and Shirley McCracken. Staff Present: City Manager Jim Ruth, City Attorney Jack White, Secretary Sheryll Schroeder, Executive Deputy Director of Community Development, Elisa Stipkovich A copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted on June 2, 2000 at the City Hall inside and outside bulletin boards. Chairman Daly called the regular meeting to order at 6:46 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Anaheim City Hall, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: There were no additions to the agenda, City Manager Ruth reported that staff requested that Item A1 be withdrawn, which would return to the Agency at a future date. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Linda Lee Grau, 24 Morning Dove, Irvine, indicated that she did not want to see the Redevelopment Agency participate in the County's light rail proposal. She also noted that Redevelopment Agencies should not be in the development business, that belonged to the private sector. She likened the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to gophers in the garden. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS I - 2: Chairman Daly moved, seconded by Agency Member McCracken to approve Item 2 on the Consent Calendar. Approve the proposed South Anaheim Boulevard Master Plan of Landscaping. (This item was withdrawn at the request to staff) Approve minutes of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency meeting held May 16, 2000. Agency Member McCracken voiced an abstention on the approval of the May 16, 2000 Agency meeting minutes, as she was not in attendance that date. END OF CONSENT CALENDAR.
