A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING
THE AGREEMENT FOR ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE ANAHEIM
HOUSING AUTHORITY AND ACCEPTING THE DEED CONVEYING THE REAL
PROPERTY TO THE CITY.
WHEREAS, an Agreement for Acquisition of Real Property (hereinafter, the
Agreement) has been approved by the Anaheim Housing Authority; and
WHEREAS, a Grant Deed describing the Grantor, the real property interest
conveyed, and the location of the real property described in Exhibit A attached hereto
will be presented to the City of Anaheim for acceptance prior to closing of the
transaction; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the property, the Anaheim Housing Authority, has
offered to sell and convey the real property to the City of Anaheim pursuant to the
terms of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council ~)f the City of Anaheim does hereby find and
determine it is in the best interest of the City to pay the purchase price pursuant to the
terms of the Agreement, and accept the Grant Deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the DEED described in Exhibit A be, and is hereby accepted; provided,
however, that nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or
property into the City street system (Streets and Highways Code Section 1806).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer in the City be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to the respective grantor, out of the funds of
the City described in the Staff Report to the City Council dated March 26, 1996, in the
amount described in the Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council be, and it is heraby,
authorized and directed to cause the foregoing DEED to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 26th dayof March , 1996.
