A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AUTHORIZING COMMENCEMENT OF THE PLAN AMENDMENT
PROCESS FOR AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE RIVER VALLEY PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, California (the "City Council") did
duly pass and adopt Ordinance No. 4463 on November 29, 1983, and did thereby adopt and approve
the Redevelopment Plan for the River Valley Redevelopment Project (the "Redevelopment Plan");
and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan was amended by the Cfi? Council by Ordinance No.
5467 which was duly passed and adopted on 12/13/94; and
WHEREAS, Section 33331 of the Community Redevelopment [,aw, California Health and
Safety Code Sections 33000, et seq., (the "Community Redevelopment Law") requires that the
Redevelopment Plan conform to the General Plan of the City of Anaheim (the "City") insothr as the
General Plan applies to the River Valley Project Area; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Redevelopment Plan to ensure conformance with
the General Plan of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish the desired amendment it is necessa,'~ to comply with
the provisions of Sections 33450-33458 and other applicable sections of the Community
Redevelopment Law~
NOW, THEREFORE, THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Staff is hereby authorized to commence the activities and proceedings
necessa~' to amend the Redevelopment Plan for the River Valley Redevelopment Project in order to
ensure that the Redevelopment Plan conforms with the City of Anaheim's General Plan as required
by Section 33331 of the Community Redevelopment Law.
