RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY CONSENTING TO AND CALLING FOR A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT
NO. 3 TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE RIVER
VALLEY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, California (the "CID' Council") did
duly pass and adopt Ordinance No. 4463 on November 29, 1983, and did thereby adopt and approve
the Redevelopment Plan for the River Valley Redevelopment Project (the "Redevelopment Plan");
and
V*~-IEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan was amended by the City Council by Ordinance No.
5467 which was duly passed and adopted on 12/13/94; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") is considering tke
adoption of a proposed amendment ("Amendment No. 3") to the Redeveloptnent Plan and has
prepared a proposed amendment to the Redevelopment Plan therefore; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 33458 and 33355 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law, California Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et seq., a joint public
hearing on the proposed Amendment No. 3 may be held with the consent of the Agency and the City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Agency hereby consents to ajoint public hearing with the City Council
on the proposed Amendment No. 3 to the Redevelopment Plan for the River Valley Redevelopment
Project, and requests the City Council to set the time and date of the joint public hearing to consider
and act upon the proposed Amendment No. 3 and ail documents and evidence pertaining thereto.
Section 2. The Agency's Executive Director is hereby attthorizcd and directed to, in
cooperation with the City Clerk, prepare publish and mail such notices and documents, and do all
other acts as may be necessary to carry out the puwoses of this resolution.
