A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING
AUTHORITY APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE BY-LAWS OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING
AUTHORITY CONCERNING REGULAR MEETING
DAYS AND TIMES.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Housing Authority has heretofore
established days and times for regular meetings of the Agency;
and
WHEREAS, the Authority desires to revise the days and times
of the regular meetings of the Authority in the manner
hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, each Authority member has received not less than
seven days advance notice of the nature of this proposed revision
to the By-Laws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Board of the
Anaheim Housing Authority that Section 501 of the By-Laws of the
Anaheim Housing Authority be, and the same is hereby, amended to
read as follows:
"Section 501. Recular Meetincs.
(A) Regular meetings of the Anaheim Housing Authority
for calendar year 2001 shall be held, without additional
notice, in the Council Chambers of the City of Anaheim (or
any other place established by members of the Anaheim
Housing Authority} on the days set forth on Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
(B} Regular meetings of the Anaheim Housing Authority
for calendar year 2002 or any year thereafter shall be on
the days set forth in any subsequent resolution adopted by
the Authority for such year.
(C) In the event the Authority fails to adopt a
resolution to establish regular meeting dates for any
calendar year, the regular meetings of the Authority for
such calendar year shall be the first, second, third and
fourth Tuesday of each month, except any Tuesday which shall
fall upon the day of, or upon the day immediately following
the day of, any authorized City holiday or any day appointed
by the President of the United States or by the Governor of
the State of California for a public feast, thanksgiving or
holiday.
(D) Regular public session meetings of the Authority
shall be scheduled to commence at 5:00 p.m. Regular closed
session meetings of the Authority shall be scheduled to
commence at 3:00 p.m.
(E) Notwithstanding any other provision of this
resolution, any regular meeting of the Authority may be
canceled by a motion duly adopted by the affirmative votes
of at least three members of the Authority. Nothing
contained herein shall require the Authority to meet on a
regular meeting date if no business has been scheduled for
such date."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall supersede
and render null and void the provisions of any prior resolution
to the extent such provisions are inconsistent with the
provisions hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective on January 1, 2001.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Anaheim Housing Authority this 12th day of December, 2000.
