A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE BY-LAWS OF THE
ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
CONCERNING REGULAR MEETING DAYS
AND TIMES.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency has heretofore
established days and times for regular meetings of the Agency;
and
WHEREAS, the Agency desires to revise the days and times of
the regular meetings of the Agency in the manner hereinafter set
forth; and
WHEREAS,

notice of the nature of this proposed revision to
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Board of the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency that Section 501 of the By-Laws of
the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency be, and the same is hereby,
amended to read as follows:
"Section 501. Requtar Meetinqs.
(A) Regular meetings of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency for calendar year 2001 shall be held, without
additional notice, in the Council Chambers of the City of
Anaheim (or any other place established by members of the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency) on the days set forth on
Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference.
(B) Regular meetings of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency for calendar year 2002 or any year thereafter shall
be on the days set forth in any subsequent resolution
adopted by the Agency for such year.
(C) In the event the Agency fails to adopt a
resolution to establish regular meeting dates for any
calendar year, the regular meetings of the Agency for such
calendar year shall be the first, second, third and fourth
Tuesday of each month, except any Tuesday which shall fall
upon the day, f, or upon the day immediately following the
day of, any ~uthorized City holiday or any day appointed by
the President of the United States or by the Governor of the
State of California for a public feast, thanksgiving or
holiday.
(D) Regular public session meetings of the Agency
shall be scheduled to commence at 5:00 p.m. Regular closed
session meetings of the Agency shall be scheduled to
commence at 3:00 p.m.
(E) Notwithstanding any other provision of this
resolution, any regular meeting of the Agency may be
canceled by a motion duly adopted by the affirmative votes
of at least three members of the Agency. Nothing contained
herein shall require the Agency to meet on a regular meeting
date if no business has been scheduled for such date."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall supersede
and render null and void the provisions of any prior resolution
to the extent such provisions are inconsistent with the
provisions hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective on January 1, 2001.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
Anaheim Redevelopment Agency this 12th day of December, 2000.
