AHA 2008/11/18ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING OF NOVEMBER 18, 2008 it The Anaheim Housing Authority met in regular session in the Chambers of Anaheim City Hall located at 200 South Anaheim Boulevard. PRESENT: Chairman Curt Pringle, Authority Members: Lord Galloway, Bob Hernandez, and Lucille Kring. EXCUSED ABSENCE: Authority Member Harry Sidhu. STAFF PRESENT: City Manager David Morgan, City Attorney Jack White, and Secretary, Linda Andal A copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Housing Authority was posted on November 14, 2008 on the kiosk outside City Hall. Chairman Pringle called the regular meeting to order at 6:29 P.M. for a joint public comment session with the governing bodies of the City of Anaheim and the Redevelopment Agency. ADDITIONS /DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: None PUBLIC COMMENTS: Eric Altman, OCCORD, addressed his comments to Item No. 3, thanking the Housing Authority for their continued commitment to the Affordable Housing Strategic Plan. He was aware, through a community housing needs assessment survey, that residents in the neighborhood of Manchester and Orangewood Avenue were in need of the type of affordable development the City was considering for that area. CONSENT CALENDAR: At 6:44 P.M., Authority Member Hernandez moved to approve the consent calendar, seconded by Authority Member Kring. Roll Call vote: Ayes - 4; Chairman Pringle, Authority Members: Galloway, Hernandez, and Kring. Noes - 0. Absence - 1; Authority Member Sidhu. Motion Carried. 3. Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute an Exclusive Negotiation 5465 Agreement with SADI, LLC, in substantial form, for the development of an affordable multi- family housing project on the corner of Manchester and Orangewood Avenue. 4. RESOLUTION NO. AHA 2008 -007 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AHA -177 AUTHORITY regarding its intention to issue tax exempt obligations for Lincoln Anaheim Phase B. 5. Approve minutes of the Housing Authority meetings of October 28, 2008 and November 3, 2008.
