ORDINANCE NO. 1917
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 263 --
Series 1961-62. in Reclassification No. 61-62-69 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 27th day
of Larch , 19 62 , as the time, and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard -and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 62R-33� finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
3c� certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the property
hereinafter described and as provided in Resolution No, 62R�- �c.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to ?Jit;
That portion of Fractional Section 5, Township !;- South,
• Range 9 West, of the San Bernardino meridian, in the
city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of Califor-
nia, according to an official plat of said land
filed in the District Land Office, March 23, 1875,
described as follows;
Beginning at the southeast corner of lot 1 of said
section; thence West 812.22 feet along the South line
of said lot 1 to the easterly line of the right of
way of the Santa Fe Railroad; thence northeasterly
603.00 feet along the easterly line of said right
of way; thence Last 665.50 feet parallel with said
South line to a point on the East line of said lot 1;
thence South 50,0.tr0 feet along said East line to
the point of beginning.
noir is R --A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in the following zones, upon the
conditions hereinafter set forth;
That all of the above-described property shall be
changed to and incorporated in Ivi-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
"LONE, with the exception of those areas lying immedi-
ately along and parallel to any arterial streets and
highways as designated on the adopted Circulation
Element of the General Plan, which areas shall_ be
changed to P -L, PARKING -LANDSCAPING ZONE, for a
depth of 50 feet from the property line after any
necessary dedication.
That said change of zones shall be made upon the following
conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the Cit -\r
of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sideoiaiks,
street grading and pavinc, drainage facilities,
or other appurtenant worlt shall. be complied with
as required by the City -Engineer artd in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file in
the Office of the City Engineer at the time the
property is developed.
2. That the owner of the property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot
for street lighting purposes, said amount to be
paid at the time the property is developed.
3e That all .plans for development of the property
shall be submitted to and approved by the
Architectural Control Committee on the basis
of compatibility of development, both structurally
and architecturally.
SECTION 2.
• The City Zoning 1-7,ap shall be, and the same is hereby=
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situ -:ted, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and

said City Zoning Map as amended

SECTION 3.

The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15,) days after its adoption, in the Anahelm Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said; City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
