AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City )Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1684
Series 1965-66 in Reclassification No. 65-66-12 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of t e Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the� hday of
19 , as the time, and the Council Chamber in
the -City Hall of t e City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planni�n_g_
Commission, and did adopt Resolution(s) No. (s 65R-621 654 ll ,
finding and determiningthat Title 18 of the Anaheim n c al
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the
boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in
said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 65R-621 __
65R-711—, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions pecedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter
of Section 26, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City of Anaheim, county of
Orange, state of California, as per map recorded in book 51
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the county
recorder of said county, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the south line of said north-
east quarter of the northwest quarter with the southwesterly
line of the land conveyed to the state of California, by deed
filed April 9, 1952, as Document No. 25258, in the office of
the Registrar of Titles of said county; thence North 400 50' 15"
West 123.00 feet along said southwesterly line to the true
point of beginning; thence North 400 50' 15" West 150.85 feet;
thence South 490 09' 45" West 318.29 feet to said south line
of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter; thence
North 890 51' 25" East 231.17 feet to a line bearing South
490 09' 45" West from the true point of beginning; thence
North 490 09' 45" East 143.03 feet to the true point of begin-
ning.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and in-
corporated in M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim along Manchester Avenue, including preparation of improve-
ment plans and installation of all improvements, such as curbs
and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage
facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be complied with as
required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City
Engineer; and that said engineering requirements shall be com-
plied with prior to final building inspection.
2. That the owner of subject property shall enter into
an agreement with the City of Anaheim to accept the drainage
from the culvert under the Santa Ana Freeway, and to hold the
City harmless from any damages. This agreement shall be prepared
by the City Attorney and recorded prior to final building in-
spection.
3. That all air conditioning facilities shall be prop-
erly shielded from view from abutting streets, prior to final
building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is bweby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
